The Erewash Novice Triathlon is open to novices and experienced triathletes but to ensure fairness the prizes are awarded according to their category of entry. In 2010, we have considered feedback from previous entrants and acted on comments raised so that everyone is competing against people of similar abilities.

Below is a breakdown of the prize categories so that you can see in advance how your position will be allocated.

Please ensure that when entering the event, you complete the section on the number of triathlons completed. We class novice competitors as completing 3 or less triathlons and experienced competitors as completing 4 or more triathlons prior to taking part in our event. We ask that all competitors be honest about this so that the awards go to the right people, many thanks.

There will also be spot prizes for all Fun Runners - Best Fancy Dress as well as prizes to those having a great time whilst taking part.
