1 Mile Family Fun Run

Erewash 1 Mile Family Fun Run - Saturday August 15th 2008

West Park Leisure Centre, Long Eaton, Derbyshire.

The Erewash 1 Mile Family Fun Run is open to all ages and abilities so please encourage your family and friends to take part. The event is FREE to enter and people enter on the day by coming along to the sports hall at West Park Leisure Centre.

Many people last year came along in fancy dress that brightened everyone's day so please continue the spirit of fun and taking part. We shall provide every finisher with a medal as a reward for taking part and we shall also be giving spot prizes for those that make the the day fun and enjoyable for all including those that wear fancy dress for the fun run.

The running course shall start and finish next to West Park Leisure Centre and fun runners will follow the paths around the park. The course is flat and will give you a chance to see the park in the height of Summer.

We can only take a maximum of 100 entrants on the day so please come early to get a place.

Registration will be open from 10:00am to 11:45am in the main Sports Hall at West Park Leisure Centre. Registration will close 15 minutes before the start time to allow people to get to the start line just past the Transition area. The Fun Run will start at 12:00pm (Midday) so please ensure your raring to run, jog or walk at the start line by midday.
